THE COALCITY ART EXHIBITION,3RD EDITION- CELEBRATING THE AFRICAN CHILD

The 16th of June is Day of the African Child which was first established by the Organization of the African Unity in 1991. The day aims at raising awareness for the situation of children in Africa, and on the need for continuing improvement in education. It encourages people’s spirit of abundance to share something special with a child in Africa. 
The Coal City Art Exhibition 3rd edition, Themed: THE AFRICAN CHILD- was used to raise awareness for the African Child.
The  exhibition was held on JUNE 16th-17th to celebrate International Day of The African Child @ Palms Polo Park Mall, Enugu.

Time: 10am-9pm Daily.
 And it also featured sculpture, painting, drawing, mixed media and Body Painting.

 The showcase also featured creative works from 20 artists from across Nigeria including sculpture
The exhibition was organized by Oarhe OHIS Kelvin, aka Mc Ohis and close to a thousand guests attended the 2 day exhibition.
The curator said “We are showcasing the creative side of our youths to the world at Large, we are giving them a platform to showcase their creative mind.
Trust me we showcased some of the best art works you can imagine in Nigeria”
