#END SARS PROTESTS: REP NNAJI PRAISES GOV. UGWUANYI's APPROACH

The lawmaker representing Nkanu East/West Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Nnolim Nnaji has commended the executive Governor of Enugu State, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his usual characteristic way of addressing crisis in the state. He acknowledged that the Governor's prosctiveness in handling the #EndSARS protests in the state was commendable adding that the steps taken by the state government helped to ensure that things did not go out of control. According to him, "from day one, the Governor never ignored the protesters. He first sent his Deputy Governor and subsequently went ahead to meet them twice and listened to their grievances". "The Governor did not stop there he went ahead to set up judiciary panel of inquiry to investigate all cases of abuse by the police in Enugu State with a view to bringing the culprits to book".
