Senator Chukwu Debunks Rumour Of His Exit From Labour Party

Senator Kelvin Chukwu representing Enugu East Senatorial Zone at the National Assembly has denied the fake resignation letter circulating in the media, falsely claiming that he has resigned from the Labour Party.

The Sanator described it as a deliberate act of misinformation aimed at misleading the public and causing unnecessary confusion.

In a reply statement issued by the Senator's  Chief of Staff, Honorable Eneh Victor, the Senator insisted that the letter is fake in its entirety.

"It did not meet the standard of what can emanate from the stable of Senator Kelvin Chukwu. It is a handiwork of mischief makers and enemies of the senator who are threatened by his towering posture and audacious performance."

"We categorically deny the authenticity of this letter and affirm that Senator Kelvin Chukwu remains a committed and active member of the Labour Party. This is yet another example of desperate political propaganda intended to undermine his position and create discord within the party."

While he urged the general public to disregard the malicious letter, Senator Chukwu retorted that those who murdered Barrister Oyibo Chukwu, his elder brother are still not tired.

He informed the people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone that these mischief makers have mobilised their Media Agents to tarnish the image of the Senator.

"They have orchestrated so many media attacks against the Senator and his political party in the ".

"Recall that, on November 17, 2024 while the Senator was at University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC) Stadium, giving out empowerment items to the people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone, these same people issued a fake statement purporting that the Labour Party, Amurri Ward had suspended the Senator from the party. Incidentally, the person whose name was used to author the suspension letter was at the UNEC Stadium with members of Labour party, Amurri ward and has come out to deny it."

"It is disheartening how someone will forge the letter headed paper and the signature of a serving Distinguished Senator and had the temerity to circulate same.

Eneh further noted that they have promptly petitioned the relevant security agencies to do thorough investigation and bring to book the culprits immediately.

"We are worried that those behind this fake letter may have been faking the letter headed paper and signature of the Most Distinguished Senator and using same to defraud the unsuspecting public."

"The office of Senator Kelvin Chukwu therefore urge members of the Labour Party, his supporters, and the good people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone to remain calm while the security agencies do the needful to fish out those behind it for prosecution."
