Enugu Hosts Landmark ECOWAS Trade Workshop to Boost Cross-Border Business Opportunities

The Enugu State Government, through the Enugu SME Center and the Office of Digital Economy, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (ECOWAS National Unit) and LONES, has announced a one-day workshop on the  ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme (ETLS)  — a pivotal event aimed at strengthening regional trade and economic integration across West Africa. Themed  “Increasing Intra-Regional Trade through ETLS,”  the event is designed to help entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and small businesses in Enugu and beyond tap into the immense opportunities presented by the ECOWAS free trade framework. Since its launch in 2021, GenU 9JA has successfully impacted over 11 million young Nigerians across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with a particular emphasis on young women and marginalized youth.
