The Man, Kenneth Isibor for Ika South, Delta State

 


Hon. Engr. Kenneth Isibor, who hails from Alisimie (Ihu-Ozomor), Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was born about four decades ago to the family of Mr Peter Isibor and Mrs. Blessing Isibor.


He had his primary and secondary education at Orogodo Primary School, Ika Grammar School and Staff Model Secondary School, all in Agbor.


Having a strong desire for higher education he sought and gained admission into the prestigious Enugu State University (ESUT), Enugu State, where he studied Engineering, majoring in Mechanical and Production Engineering, and thereafter obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B. Engr).


Holding on to the dictum that, 'education is power' the young dynamic Ken proceeded to obtain a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from ESUT Business School, Enugu State.


Hon. Isibor, who is a COREN Certified Engineer is a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE)


He began his work experience at the BMW and Ford sections of Coscharis Motors, Lagos, where he did the one year mandatory National Youths Service. He had earlier, during a brief industrial attachment, worked at the forklift section of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Warri.


Since venturing into business, Engr. Isibor has made giant progression in his career. He has founded and co-founded different companies, including CK Perfect Logistics Ventures, and CK Perfect Construction Limited, where he is the Chairman/CEO, which are currently doing very well in the murky Nigerian business environment. An attestation to his unwavering determination and dexterity in pursuing his dreams.


As an administrator and employer of labour, Engr. Isibor has made undeniable and immense contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy.


He was one time Procurement Manager at Peterrson Color International Limited, a health equipment supply company. He is currently a consultant to a Chinese based company known as Nanjing Evench Import and Export, and has helped the company to make great inroad into the Nigerian market. He also functions as a consultant to the Ministry of Science and Technology, Asaba, Delta State. 


Hon. Kenneth Isibor, who has been a staunch member of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, since 1999, however, first showed interest in politics while a student at ESUT. But his direct political engagements began when he contested and won the Councillorship position for Ward 3 in Ika South Local Government Area, and later became the Deputy Majority Leader of Ika South Legislative Arm. He was later appointed Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters during the administration of immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. He presently serves as Senior Special Assistant on Project Monitoring and Audit to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.


A grassroots political mobiliser and consistent youth empowerment advocate, the young entrepreneur had built enduring relationships and friendship with people from across the different wards that make up Ika South Local Government Area.


He still enjoys warm relationship with his councillor colleagues several years after leaving office, a testament to his strong character and belief in maintaining deep bonds with people for a better society.


A man of many talents and interests, Hon. Isibor's achievements is as diverse as ... He believes that holding a public office is an opportunity to serve and impact positively on the lives of the people. His love for the people of Ika South, which he hardly hides, underscores his commitment to seeing a better and more developed Ika South Local Government Area.


Hon. Engr. Kenneth Isibor, a devoted christian, is happily married with children.

APC SUPPORT GROUP CAUTIONS RECALLED ENVOYS TO DESIST FROM EMBARRASSING THE NIGERIAN GOVT.

A Coalition of All Progressives Congress, APC, support groups, on Thursday, cautioned recalled envoys and ambassadors to stop denting the country's image abroad. The groups issued the warning during a press conference in Abuja. They accused some of the envoys, particularly the Ambassador to Zambia, of sponsoring spurious media campaigns against the Federal Government and the person of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
