They say the beauty of art radiates when it is appreciated. That explains that zealousness, curiosity and excitement one finds on the faces of artistes when asked about their creative works.

The birth of Coal City Art Exhibition is one that is worthy of commendation, judging by the first outing.

An art exhibition is traditionally the space in which art objects, in the most general sense meet an audience. The exhibit is universally understood to be for some temporary period unless, as is rarely true, it is stated to be a "permanent exhibition".

Through thick and thin, the organisers of Coal City Art Exhibition have worked hard to ensure that the overall essence of the exhibition is achieved, which is creating opportunity for young and aspiring art talents to be able to showcase their works and overtime generate revenue from them.

According to the organisers of the 5th edition of the Coal City Art ExhibitionGHills Entertainment, this year's event is one of the most successful art gatherings in the South-East region of Nigeria.
