PDP has nothing more to offer Ndi Enugu- Ibeneme

Labour Party in Enugu State has reacted over the appointment of Ikeje Asogwa as the campaign DG for Enugu State PDP, saying it has not come to them as a surprise . 


The party believes it a further confirmation that the infamous Ebeano gang is regrouping. 

Asogwa like Peter Mbah (the PDP Guber candidate) was a commissioner during the plundering years of Chimaroke Nnamani, whom the party has described as  the self styled Ebeano crooner.


Ikeje is also the director ESUBEB , the commission in charge of Basic Education in the state . 

In a press release signed by the Chairman, Labor Party in OJI RIVER LG, Dr Ginger Ibeneme II, he frowned as such choice noting thatr Pimary School teachers in Enugu state have been on strike for months now protesting non payment of 30,000 Naira Minimum wage which was signed into law since 2008, adding that pictures of dilapidated primary schools in parts of ENUGU State regularly appear in the internet, and same Asogwa is the manager of ESUBEB


He lamented that Enugu State became the second poorest state in the entire South East under PDP, noting that more than half of the population live on less than $2 per day . 

Ibeneme said it would be dramatic and ironical to hear what NEW Asogwa ,( a member of the old brigade that  misgoverned ENUGU State for 23 years) would be promising Ndi Enugu .

He appealed to Enugu people to endeavour not to reward terrible behaviour and habitual bad governance.


He assured that Labour Party is offering Nigeria and Enugu State an opportunity to create a government that would work for the people.

EEDC ANNOUNCES GENERAL SYSTEM COLLAPSE

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has informed it's esteemed customers of a general system collapse that occurred at 18:48 hours today, 14th October, 2024.  According to a statement issued by EEDC Head, Corporate Communication, Emeka Eze, the collapse has resulted in the loss of supply currently being experienced across EEDC network. Consequently, due to this development, all our according to him "interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide services to our customers in Abia, Anambra,  Ebonyi,  Enugu, and Imo States". Senator Chukwu Debunks Rumour Of His Exit From Labour Party

Senator Kelvin Chukwu representing Enugu East Senatorial Zone at the National Assembly has denied the fake resignation letter circulating in the media, falsely claiming that he has resigned from the Labour Party.  The Sanator described it as a deliberate act of misinformation aimed at misleading the public and causing unnecessary confusion.
