FORMER KATSINA ALGON CHAIRMAN, IBRAHIM DANKABA HEADS FOR THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY



The Former Chairman of Kaita Local Government Council and the Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria ALGON Katsina state Chapter Hon. Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba has purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to Contest for the position of Member of the House of Representatives for the Kaita-Jibia Federal Constituency under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

Hon. Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba said he is Optimistic and by the Grace of God the People in Kaita and Jibia local government areas will overwhelmingly vote for him to represent them at the Federal House of Representatives considering his grassroot Political track records and his exposure at the National level.

Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba is from Dankaba Community in Kaita Local Government Area. He was a Special Adviser to the Ex Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema before being Elected as the Chairman of Kaita Local Government Area of Katsina state Northwest Nigeria.

EEDC ANNOUNCES GENERAL SYSTEM COLLAPSE

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has informed it's esteemed customers of a general system collapse that occurred at 18:48 hours today, 14th October, 2024.  According to a statement issued by EEDC Head, Corporate Communication, Emeka Eze, the collapse has resulted in the loss of supply currently being experienced across EEDC network. Consequently, due to this development, all our according to him "interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide services to our customers in Abia, Anambra,  Ebonyi,  Enugu, and Imo States". "We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo.

Senator Chukwu Debunks Rumour Of His Exit From Labour Party

Senator Kelvin Chukwu representing Enugu East Senatorial Zone at the National Assembly has denied the fake resignation letter circulating in the media, falsely claiming that he has resigned from the Labour Party.  The Sanator described it as a deliberate act of misinformation aimed at misleading the public and causing unnecessary confusion.
