Private Broadcast Journalists in Enugu urges government to tackle water scarcity in the state.

The Private Broadcast Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Enugu State Council has commended the Union's National President, Comrade Chris Isiguzo and Chairman State Council, Comrade Rex Arum, for their impactful leadership and stability of the profession under their reign.

In a communique issued on the 12th of January, 2022 after it's first Congress for the year, the Private Broadcast Chapel called on all aspirants in the forthcoming election of NUJ Enugu State Council to remain professional and abide by the constitution of NUJ and also see the forthcoming election with the mindset of a sportsman.

The Chapel also urged all broadcast journalists and members of the chapel to double their efforts in ensuring that the visions and aspirations behind the creation and the inauguration of the chapel are achieved.

In the same light, the chapel while commending Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his developmental strides which it says has impacted on people's lives urged the Enugu state government to look into and address the impact of water scarcity in the state, noting that this has continued to bring untold hardship to the residents of the state. 




The Private Broadcast Chapel also urged the security agencies to ensure peace and stability of Enugu state is maintained with utmost professionalism and rules of engagement as the state prepares for the Local Government Elections this year as well as the General Elections billed for 2023.

The NUJ Enugu Council is in the verge of electing new set of executives come 22nd February, 2022.
