Enugu new Police Commissioner resumes office... Vows to tackle insecurity in the state

New Enugu State Police Commissioner 

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdurrahaman has stated his resolve towards improving safety and security of the state.

He made this known on Monday during his maiden interface with senior officers, Divisional Police Officers, Heads of Department of the command at the conference room of the State Police headquarters Enugu. 

According to the Police boss, he is in the state to serve and to ensure a safe and secured state.

He said he would engage relevant stakeholders to reduce the increased security worries in the environment, charging all officers to rise up to the occasion as he expects them to be dedicated.

He promised to take the war to would be criminals and not ready to give them breathing space.

On extortion and corrupt tendencies, he warned in strong term that such will not be condoled by him as a graduate of corruption studies and advocate against corruption with his years of service with Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) as well as his several training on Anti corruption in Hong Kong and Singapore. 

He warned that any one linked with any corrupt tendencies will be made to face the music in line with police Act and regulations adding that Corruption debases our integrity and needs to be shunned from all angle.
