ENUGU CP GOES TOUGH AGAINST UNPROFESSIONALISM AND IMPROPER CONDUCT BY PERSONNEL

The Enugu state Commissioner of Police, Sulaiman Balarabe has warned against cases of extortion and unprofessional conduct by any member of the force in the command.

The Commissioner who was speaking on Monday during his weekly conference with senior officers and Divisional Police Officers at the conference room of the state headquarters, Enugu gave out marching orders to the men of the IGP''s X-Squad to constantly fish out those in this habit for immediate trial and commensurate punishment.

He further warned that any one found wanting will be dealt with in accordance with provision of Police Act and Regulations while any affected senior officer will be queried accordingly.

He further advised motorists,tricycle operators to desist from succumbing to the evil act of giving money to personnel on stop and search but to promptly report to the nearest police Division about any case of unprofessional conduct by police personnel.

Such complaint he said could also be forwarded to the command via direct inbox message to the commands twitter account of @policeNG_Enugu for necessary prompt necessary action.

Meanwhile the Commissioner of Police has warned that henceforth any officer whose cases of extortion is recorded within his Area of Responsibility will be sanctioned and warned for strict supervision of men posted to stop and search point and patrol duties as well as that of traffic.

Speaking on those personnel recently arrested during his routine patrol, he maintained that orderly room trials of the personnel are on while the senior officer amongst them has been queried.

Police arrests Department of Nursing Head at Coal City University, Mba Alphonsus over fraud allegations.

The Nigerian Police Force, Zone 13 Command Ukpo, Anambra State has on Saturday 14th of October arrested the Head of Nursing Department Coal City University, Enugu, Mba Alphonsus. Mba was taken to Emene police station shortly after he was taken into custody before he was moved to Zone 13 Ukpo where he's been detained. He was arrested on allegation of identity theft and fraud he committed at the school of Post Basic Psychiatry, Enugu when he was the acting Principal. APC SUPPORT GROUP CAUTIONS RECALLED ENVOYS TO DESIST FROM EMBARRASSING THE NIGERIAN GOVT.

A Coalition of All Progressives Congress, APC, support groups, on Thursday, cautioned recalled envoys and ambassadors to stop denting the country's image abroad. The groups issued the warning during a press conference in Abuja. They accused some of the envoys, particularly the Ambassador to Zambia, of sponsoring spurious media campaigns against the Federal Government and the person of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
