THE DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT, SENATOR IKE EKWEREMADU CALLS FOR PEACE AS MUSLIMS CONCLUDE RAMADAN FAST





The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has congratulated the Muslim Umah on the successful conclusion of the Ramadan Fast.

This was contained in an Eid-El Fitri message to the Muslim Umah and signed by Uche Anichukwu, Special Adviser, Media to Deputy President of the Senate.

Senator Ekweremadu urged the Muslim Umah to carry the lessons and virtues of love, tolerance, and perseverance imbibed during the holy month of Ramadan into every aspect of their daily lives in order to move the nation forward.

The Deputy President of the Senate also noted that Nigeria would be a better place if the political class closed ranks and made necessary sacrifices in the interest of the country.
                                     
While also wishing the Muslim Umah a hitch-free celebration, Senator Ekweremadu called on them and all Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the peace, unity, and development of Nigeria.
