NIMC to partner states on accurate database

The National Identity Management Commission said it was prepared to work with state governments to build accurate and reliable databases to ensure that they make adequate provisions for the needs of the people. The Director General of NIMC, Abisoye Coker-Odusote, said this when she received the General Manager of the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency, Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja. Coker-Odusote, in a statement signed by her Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Ayodele Babalola, on Thursday, stated that the collaboration would make it easy for states to use NIMC’s database “to improve service delivery and policy formulation. “I admit that the age we are in is that of collaboration.
