Katsina State Government moves to empower secondary school children. Approves 50m for AGILE Project

Gov Masari Katsina Governor Aminu Bello Masari has approved the disbursement of 50 per cent of the N100m budgeted for the Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) school Project. The fund is expected to improve the implications plans and help create priority during the engagement of the activities. The State Coordinator of the AGILE Project, Shehu Mustapha, made this known while addressing newsmen shortly after the celebration of the International Day of the African Child. He told newsmen that the State Government has already so far released the sum of N35m for the project. According to him, the AGILE project is getting all support needed from the State ministry of Education through it Commissioner and efforts are being made to guarantee it's success. ‘’All other stakeholders and individual actors also have given us the necessary support needed", he said.
